The iPhone Version
Took a while to get used to the subtle differences on the iPhone, versus the iPad which Id been using for a number of years. Its still a solid app. Those of us that report prices must be doing it for "the good of the cause", as the points lottery winnings seem quite thin. In that regard Ive noticed the app recently making it easier to earn points for the lottery drawing. Wonder if this is because participation falls off during the winter? Or?
Like others the new "passenger" function is annoying. If not selected, the app seems to take forever to recognize the car isnt moving. If I drive far enough to make a long stop after spotting the price it then warns me about being too far from the station! And if I pull off and stop on my motorcycle to make a report it forces me to select passenger. Why was this added? Some over zealous court decision?
Perhaps a small point, but the "days reporting" function makes no sense. In some cases the number of days remains fixed or even goes down, over weeks Ive reported every day. In a recent example I was out of the country for 6 days, and the app accurately reduced the days reporting for each of those days; however now back it doesnt reflect my reporting every day.
